The premiere of the direct-to-digital film Atithi Bhooto Bhava was announced by ZEE5. The romantic comedy, which is directed by Dr. Jayantilal Gada [PEN Studios], stars Jackie Shroff, Pratik Gandhi, and Sharmin Segal in the key roles, as well as Divinaa Thackur, Simran Sharmaand, and Prabhjyot Singh in supporting roles. The Hindi-language film, which was directed by Hardik Gajjar, will start streaming on ZEE5 on September 23, 2022.
Atithi Bhooto Bhava, a ZEE5-exclusive movie, tells the tale of stand-up comic Srikant Shirodkar (Pratik Gandhi), who takes all of his relationships for granted, including his lovely live-in girlfriend Netra Bannerjee (Sharmin Segal). Things change when Jackie Shroff's ghostly Makhan Singh appears in their lives and asks Srikant to keep a commitment he made. Srikant, who is still confused, then understands that he has had a rebirth and that, in 1975, he served as Makhan Singh's Darji (grandfather). The film follows the progression of two love stories set in various time zones, as well as Makhan Singh's assistance and counsel to Srikant in his relationship with Netra.
Shroff said in a statement that he has played gigantic roles, but Makhan Singh in Atithi Bhooto Bhava was something entirely else. It was thrilling to play a ghost, and he believed that the audience would find it fascinating to see him in this character as well. There are several moments and scenes that the audience will connect with, and it's a lovely romantic film. The actor sincerely hopes the audience has as much fun watching it as Pratik, Sharmin, and he had to make it.
Pratik shared that Atithi Bhooto Bhava is a fun movie with lots of feelings. The script had a new plot, so he was drawn to it. It is a jovial romantic musical film that will connect with people and restore their faith in love in a time when there are thrillers and murder mysteries.
Whereas Sharmin added that she firmly believes that love should be communicated when felt, and that's one of the film's key messages. Until he understands the importance of love, Srikant is unable to give her character, Netra, the attention and affection she desires. The film depicts the lovely journey of two love stories, and Shroff's persona gives their characters an understanding of how uncommon and crucial it is to find love. Love is an extremely nuanced feeling and can be interpreted in a variety of ways. She couldn't resist this script since she needed to know if "True Love" really did exist.
Atithi Bhooto Bhava is very dear to director Hardik Gajjar's heart, but it's also an important film. They are having trouble expressing their emotions at a time when there are so many places to voice their opinions. True love is such a pure emotion, so why does one sometimes downplay the value of expressing it? The same theme is emphasised in this movie, which also shows how love has a strength that goes beyond life and death.
