Atrangi Re song Garda: Akshay Kumar is a charismatic ring master with some groovy moves

The makers of Atrangi Re have unveiled the full music video of the song Garda, from the film’s soundtrack. The catchy song features Akshay Kumar don the role of circus master, his charisma guaranteed to make viewers wish for a chance to step into the ring with him.

The music video shows Kumar’s ringmaster make his entry in the grandest way possible, stepping atop an elephant. The spotlight reveals Kumar’s character dressed in snazzy threads and flashing a smile, to roaring applause from the audience. The visually stunning video also sees Kumar bust out some moves in a well choreographed dance routine as well. The video also features some circus elements that undoubtedly hold the viewer's attention, including spinning fire sticks and dazzling lights. Even Kumar performs a magic trick of his own, lighting the rim of his hat on fire using just his fingers.

Garda is sung by Daler Mehndi and its lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil. The song as well as the film’s soundtrack was composed by A R Rahman.

In addition to Kumar, the upcoming film also stars Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The film is a romantic drama whose premise revolves around a love triangle between its three main characters. The film is directed by Aanand L Rai.

Atrangi Re will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from December 24 onwards. The film’s Tamil dubbed version, titled Galatta Kalyanam, will also premiere on the same day.
