Attack: Teaser of John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez’s new action film unveiled

The teaser for John Abraham’s upcoming thriller film Attack has finally been unveiled. The short teaser signals at an action packed film in which a hero rises in the aftermath of a tragedy.

The teaser was unveiled by the actor on his official social media. It opens with a scene that reveals a catastrophic blast that brings a whole city down to its knees, with its citizens reeling under the loss it brings. Abraham’s character seems to be particularly devastated, seeking comfort in the arms of Jacqueline Fernandez. As the clip progresses viewers see the after effects of the tragedy leading Abraham to take a drastic decision, which leads to the making of what is hinted to be a scientifically enhanced human being, or ‘super soldier’ as the star mentions in the caption of the post. Rakul Preet Singh is seen essaying the role of a scientist.

Viewers then get to see Abraham’s super soldier in action, being involved in high speed chases, facing off against a barrage of bullets and of course, the classic slow walk away from an explosion.

The premise of Attack will revolve around that of a rescue mission involving a hostage situation. The story is reportedly inspired by true events.

The upcoming film is directed and written by Lakshya Raj Anand. In addition to Abraham, Fernandez and Singh, the upcoming film also features Ratna Pathak Shah and Prakash Raj.

Attack will be released in theaters on January 28, 2022.
