Audio Recording of filmmaker Yogaraj Bhat lashing out at Zee Kannada Business Head goes viral

Filmmaker Yogaraj Bhat is a popular figure mainly for his humour and wordplay. His work as both a screenwriter and lyricist is known to feature a subtextual element and his mastery over the Kannada language has floored many over the past two decades. Regardless of the context or the situation, Bhat is known to be a level-headed individual who always has a joke or a quip up his sleeve for his audience's delight.

However, one recent audio recording, which has now gone viral on the internet, reveals the lesser-known angry and indignant side of the Gaalipata 2 filmmaker. In the recording, Yogaraj Bhat can be heard addressing the popular media figure, Raghavendra Hunsur, over a matter related to his upcoming film. Although the complete background of the dispute remains slightly unclear, one can gather that Bhat and Hunsur were to enter a deal for the satellite and digital rights of the former's upcoming production Padavi Poorva. 

"We have sent the proposal for the digital and satellite rights of our film Padavi Poorva to Zee but you haven't answered my calls in the past 15-20 days. This is a matter of great urgency," says Bhat in the recording before going on to criticize Raghavendra Hunsur who operates as Business Head at Zee Kannada. 

"I am not the only one who feels this way about you," he adds to highlight that a majority of the Kannada Film Industry has had difficulty in venturing with Hunsur though many have come to his aid when requested.

Yogaraj Bhat's association with Zee Kannada goes back a long time with him serving as one of the main judges on the hit reality show Comedy Khiladigalu. Bhat is also said to have sidetracked his directorial projects to fulfil his commitments towards the show and he could be heard alluding to the favours he has made to Raghavendra Hunsur over the years. 

On the other hand, there are no reports of the Zee Kannada Business Head responding to Yogaraj Bhat's remarks but netizens have unanimously lauded the latter for his straightforwardness. More updates to follow soon.
