Auntypreneur out on OTT: Supriya Pathak's Gujarati comedy drama begins streaming on this platform!

Supriya Pathak, who is widely known for the iconic role as Hansa Parekh from the TV show, Khichdi (2002-2004), returned to Gujarati cinema with Auntypreneur in April this year. The Gujarati comedy drama has finally made its digital debut on ShemarooMe and OTTplay Premium today, on November 13, 2025, after more than six months of its theatrical release.

What's the plot of Auntypreneur

The comedy drama focuses on an elderly woman named Jasuben who faces a huge problem in her community. When Jasuben and the people in her housing society are threatened of being thrown out of their apartments due to an unpaid property tax of Rs 1 crore, she takes the matter into her hands to solve the problem and raises funds.

Jasuben gathers a group of women from the housing society and takes the initiative to find a way to save their homes from getting demolished. Jasuben's roommate, a young man who is a stock market broker, teaches her stock marketing.

Auntypreneur has a heartwarming story with emotional elements, highlighting the worth of strong bonds and working together for a common goal.  The movie also features Parikshit Tamaliya, Yukti Randeria, Ojas Rawal, Brinda Trivedi, Vaibhavi Bhatt, Kaushambi Bhatt, Margi Desai, Heena, and Archan Trivedi. Auntypreneur grossed Rs 0.71 crore in its worldwide box office collections, as per tracker Sacnilk.

Supriya Pathak plays the lead role of Jasuben in the Gujarati film. The 64-year-old veteran has also appeared in a handful of Hindi movies as well like Happi (2019), Rashmi Rocket (2021), and Luv Ki Arrange Marriage (2024).
