Cinematography minister for Telangana, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, producers Dil Raju, Damodar Prasad, Suresh Babu and others graced the film launch event. Dil Raju sounded the clapboard for the first shot with Damodara Prasad switching on the camera. Producer Suresh Babu directed the opening sequence. The film promises to throw new light on the significance of lies in a man’s life.

Director Ayan Bommalee asserted that a lie plays a crucial role in a man’s life, from how a mom lies to feed her child to a doctor convincing a family about a patient’s recovery on their deathbed. “Lies are important, even Lord Krishna in Mahabharata had to do it on a few occasions. With inspirations from epics, we’ve made a story on lies with commercial elements and cinematic liberties.”
