The film faced strong competition from Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar as the espionage thriller continues to rule at the domestic box office. Avatar: Fire and Ash had an overall 69.68% English Occupancy on Friday, December 19, 2025.
While Avatar: Fire an Ash's first day collection is decent, it did not beat Avatar: The Way of Water as the film minted Rs. 48.75 crore in India on its opening day.
