In May of this year, the film's creators released the teaser. Avatar: The Way of Water, which takes place more than ten years after the events of the first movie, tells the tale of the Sully family, Jake, Neytiri, and their children, the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep one another safe, the struggles they face to survive, and the tragedies they experience.

Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet are among the cast members of Avatar: The Way of Water.

Avatar: The Way of Water begins to chronicle the narrative of the Sully family, the peril that follows them, the lengths they take to keep each other safe, the fights they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure, according to Disney's official description for the upcoming Avatar sequel.

Winslet broke Tom Cruise's record for the longest underwater breath-hold in a feature film after learning to hold her breath underwater for the role and the movie, according to Variety.

Winslet spoke to the magazine about what it was like to reunite with Cameron long after Titanic. She said that she and Jim had changed entirely from the individuals they were 26 years ago. The actor is now unquestionably more energetic, whereas he was calmer.
