The trailer for the upcoming Malayalam movie Avihitham was released by the film's makers today (September 25). They additionally announced that this dark comedy will be released in theatres in October.
A man learns about an alleged extramarital affair in his small town at the start of the two-minute, six-second film. He quickly tells the men in their neighbourhood about this, and they immediately go into a mad dash to identify the temptress and gather reliable proof. The first week of September saw the release of the teaser, which showed a man coming home from a late-night drink with his buddies and learning of an alleged illicit affair on his way. He immediately recognises the man as Vinod, who runs the neighbourhood flour mill, and the woman as someone who is related to a guy named Madhavan. The film, which takes its title from the Malayalam word for extramarital affairs or romances, clearly focusses on the bewilderment and issues that arise after this 'provocative' disclosure.
Among the cast members of Avihitham who have significant parts are Unniraj, Renji Kankol, Vineeth Chakyar, Dhanesh Koliyat, Rakesh Ushar, Ajith Punnad, Unnikrishnan Parappa, Aneesh Chemmarathi, T Gopinathan, Vijisha Nileshwaram, Ammini Chandralayam, Parvana Raj and Vrinda Menon.
