Ayushmann Khurrana has proven the mettle of his talent on screen with performances, in films such as Article 15, Andhadhun, Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan and Badhaai Ho, among many more. The actor received critical acclaim in his debut film itself, with the 2012 film Vicky Donor. After the blockbuster hit, his career hit a slump after a number of his films were not received well by the audience. But all that changed with Dum Laga Ke Haisha, which sealed him as a bankable star.

Reminiscing about his initial years in the film industry, Ayushmann revealed in a recent interview that the unexpected success of Vicky Donor led to him getting God Syndrome. Such success is not common for a newcomer. Ayushmann added that since, he has seen several ups and downs in his life, but now knows how to cope with every situation.

The versatile actor featured on the MTV reality television show Roadies at the age of 18, receiving fame and recognition. He soon became a video jockey (VJ). The actor got critical acclaim for his debut film, Vicky Donor, in which he played a sperm donor. Yami Gautam was his leading lady in the film.

Ayushmann has earned accolades for featuring in subject-driven films and portraying real-life problems of people, the latest being Doctor G alongside Rakul Preet Singh. He will soon be seen in Dream Girl 2 with Ananya Panday.
