Azmeri Haque Badhon – a popular Bangladeshi actress – has worked in Vishay Bhardwaj’s Khufia. It is heard that she might work again in an Indian film. She was offered to play in one story of Prosenjit Biswas’s anthology film Fair and Ugly.

Saqib Ayub, famous for Farzi and Brahmastra, and Deboprosad Halder, are supposed to act in the project. Badhon wished to work in the film. The shooting will start around mid-May. There are five stories. Parno Mittra, Samrat, Rituparna Sengupta, Kaushik Sen, Mumtaz, and Sayan Munshi are shooting. Some of the stories' shootings have been finished.

Badhon worked in Srijit Mukherji's Hoichoi series Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Asen Ni. She worked in Khufiya, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, in 2023. It was her Bollywood debut and her acting was liked by the audience.

On the other hand, Badhon recently made history in Bangladesh. She was the first Bangladeshi woman to get full custody of her child. The court order came on April 22. Bangladesh High Court also ordered a committee with specialists who could make a set of rules regarding the guardianship of a minor child. The court ordered the Women and Children Welfare Ministry and the National Human Rights Commission to submit the report by August 4. Badhon is the only mother in Bangladesh who got full custody. The joint division bench of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Kaji Jinat Haque passed this verdict.

Badhon said she did not fully understand the verdict's importance six years back when she got the guardianship and started understanding it over time. She said that it was an exceptional struggle that was fought by many people together.
