Baahubali famed Prabhas to be paid Rs 150 crore for his upcoming epic-drama Adipurush?

It is no surprise that whatever movie ‘Darling’ Prabhas stars in, would hands down, be a mammoth project. And considering his popularity and his larger-than-life image, he is reported to be charging Rs 150 crore for the upcoming mythological epic-drama Adipurush. The film will also star Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.

According to media reports, the Baahubali star will be bagging the massive fee mentioned for his role as Lord Ram or ‘Adipurush’ in the upcoming mythological drama helmed by Om Raut. The budget of this magnum opus is touted to be Rs 500 crore, which has promised to give us a visual treat with great VFX. Reports also construe that this fee is touted to be the largest amount charged by an actor. Even the fees of the Khans of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, for Pathan and Tiger 3 respectively, does not come close to Prabhas’.

Adipurush is noted for its heavy star-studded cast that includes Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan portraying the roles of Lord Sita and Raavan respectively. We will also get to see the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star Sunny Singh in the role of Lord Ram’s trusted brother and aide, Lakshman. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films and Retrophiles, the multi-lingual mythological drama will be released in 3D. The movie is currently at its final stage of filming.
