Baahubali is one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema. The SS Rajamouli film was released in two parts and was a smash hit. As the first part completed ten years, Rajamouli combined the two parts into one and re-released the film as Baahubali: The Epic.
Apart from a few areas, the action drama did not attract the kind of attention it did years ago. However, the Prabhas starrer made Rs 54 crore gross worldwide, as per the tracking portal Sacnilk.

All eyes were on the OTT release of the film, and the latest update is that Baahubali: The Epic will be available on not one but two OTT platforms. The action drama will be available for streaming on Netflix and JioHotstar from December 25, 2027, and Netflix has confirmed the same.
The film’s runtime is three hours and forty minutes, and once it lands on JioHotstar, you can also stream the film on OTTplay Premium.Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Nasser, and Sathyaraj played key roles in the film, which had music composed by MM Keeravani.
The Baahubali franchise is continuing, as the makers revealed a teaser for an animated film during the re-release. This animated film will carry the story of Baahubali forward.
On the other hand, Rajamouli is busy shooting for his new film, Varanasi, which has Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. The other day, we at OTTplay also revealed that award-winning actor Prakash Raj has joined the team and will be seen in a key role in Varanasi.
The adventure thriller is being made on a budget of Rs 1300 crore and has some of the best global VFX giants working on it. The shoot is currently happening at Ramoji Film City, where key scenes with Prakash Raj are being filmed.
