Looks like the month of September is set to be another exciting period for moviegoers. With big films like Kushi, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello and Salaar already lined up, there is a lot to savour at the box office this coming month and gradually new entrants are being added to this mix.
After much ado, Preetham Gubbi's romance story Baanadariyalli, starring Golden Star Ganesh, Rukmini Vasanth and Reeshma Nanaiah, is set to arrive in cinemas. The makers took to social media earlier today to share through a special poster that the Golden Star Ganesh starrer will release in theatres this September.
A packed September with a wide variety of releases
Interestingly, the makers haven't disclosed the exact date of theatrical release but with so much competition surrounding their film, it is highly likely that they will steer clear of the big names. Both Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A and Kushi clash on September 1 with Salaar scheduled for the last Friday of September (28th). In between, Shah Rukh Khan's mega commercial entertainer Jawan has the September 7 slot to its name already and so does the Telugu rom-com Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, which stars Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty. Hollywood horror thriller Nun 2 is out on September 8.
The Friday after that, September 15, has two other enterprising releases in the form of Meghana Raj Sarja's Tatsama Tadbhava and the Telugu film Tillu Square, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran. So, with so much to contend with Preetham Gubbi & Co. would have to be wise with Baanadariyalli's release date, which could be expected to be announced very soon.
Golden Star Ganesh's love story arrives late
Originally, Baanadariyalli was scheduled to be a Christmas 2022 release but the makers deferred on that, adding that the film would come out sometime in early 2023. The new release date was announced as March 17 which meant that it faced off against Kabzaa at the box office. Citing R. Chandru's film as a tough competitor, Baanadariyalli's theatrical release was delayed again and one heard no news about it till now.
Well, there's no doubt that Preetham Gubbi's film impressed everyone with its first few glimpses, promising an engaging, fresh love story for a change. Along with that, the fact that the film has been shot in numerous exotic locations, including Maasai Mara in Kenya, adds an element of excitement to the film. Will Baanadariyalli carry the same hype this September? Let's wait and watch!
