Baapu is yet another village drama that was extensively promoted by its makers. Released on February 21, 2025, the family drama, unfortunately, ended up as a massive flop at the box office. Despite its theatrical failure, the film has now found a new lease of life on OTT.

The latest update is that Hotstar has bagged the digital rights to Baapu and will begin streaming the film from March 7, 2025. This means Baapu will be available on OTT within just two weeks of its theatrical release. Veteran actor Brahmaji played the lead role in this film, which was directed by Daya.
