When unique voices are introduced in Kannada movie soundtracks, it has worked wonders, be it Anthony Dassan’s rendition of Tagaru Banthu Tagaru or Bappi Lahiri’s Current Hoda Timealli. So, it is with great expectation that fans of actors Darling Krishna and Sonal Monteiro are awaiting the release of a song from their upcoming film Sugar Factory. The song is by none other than the popular Hindi rapper Baba Sehgal. This will be his second song in the Kannada movie industry. He had sung Maneli Appa for the Yash starrer film, Gajakesari.

The lyrical video is set to drop on September 10 on the auspicious occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi. The lyrics are penned by Chetan Kumar and set to tune by Kafir Rafi. The song is shot in Goa. It features the lead characters, Krishna and Sonal, and is choreographed by Dhananjay.

The shooting of the movie Sugar Factory commenced at the beginning of the year 2021. The movie will see Deepak Aras returning to direct a film after the 2011 movie, Manasology, a romantic drama wherein a violin teacher (Amulya) falls in love with Manas (Rakesh Adiga) over phone calls.

The film Sugar Factory features Adhvithi Shetty, Shilpa Shetty and Bigg Boss Kannada fame Shashi Kumar. The flick was shot mainly in different parts of Bengaluru and Goa.
