A new pair is coming to the screens to entertain movie lovers, and they are none other than Babil Khan, the son of late actor Irrfan Khan, and Alaya F, the daughter of Pooja Bedi. While you might expect the film to be a romantic drama, the media report claims that it is not a romantic saga but is based on a real-life incident.
As per a Pinkvilla report, Babil Khan and Alaya F will be seen together in a film, based on a real-life incident. The untitled project will be directed by Bodhayan Roychaudhury, writer of Sector 36 starring Vikrant Massey. The film’s plot is going to be based on a real-life incident, and it’s a crime thriller.
Babil Khan was recently seen in Logout. The cybercrime thriller is available for streaming on ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium. The film follows Pratyush Dua, an aspiring social media influencer whose life spirals out of control after his phone is stolen. The story explores the dangers of digital fame and how our dependence on technology can lead to its demise.
Pratyush, played by Babil Khan, is on the verge of reaching 10 million followers when his phone is stolen, and he starts receiving calls from a fan who at first seems supportive but later reveals himself to be emotional. The film received good reviews, and Babil's performance was praised as well.

Babil recently shared a now-deleted video where he said, “Bollywood is so f***ed. Bollywood is so, so rude." He mentioned several names, including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, and even Arijit Singh. Babil's family and team shared a clarification statement, where they mentioned that it has been widely misinterpreted and taken out of context.
Following this, Babil had a social media feud with filmmaker Sai Rajesh, after which Babil quit his film, stating, “With a lot of grit, passion, and mutual respect, Sai Rajesh sir and I both got along on this journey of creating magic together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn't go ahead as everyone had planned.”
Alaya was last seen in Srikanth opposite Rajkummar Rao. The story was based on the real life of Srikanth Bolla, a visually impaired Indian industrialist and the founder Chairman of Bollant Industries.
