Babil Khan found support in THIS to be able to carry forward Irrfan Khan’s legacy

In case you have a father like the legendary actor Irrfan Khan, you have big shoes to fill. Babil Khan, who has just ventured into acting, already has the pressure of carrying forward the beautiful legacy left behind by his baba, Irrfan. Even though the journey isn’t a smooth ride, Babil found support in something that was left behind by Irrfan. That is what helped him grow as an actor.

What is Babil’s support?

During his conversation with HT City, Babil spoke about what helped him through this journey, of filling in the big shoes of Irrfan Khan. “Even though you don’t get talent in genetics, you do get a sub-conscious learning that you go through in life. That supported me,” he said.

Babil’s attitude towards life

Babil further spoke about his attitude towards life. He is a believer of destiny and thus, he is currently going with the flow. “I’m trying to enjoy every moment and trying not to be scared of the pressure but letting it shape me into who I’m supposed to be,” he shared.

About Babil

Babil is the elder son of Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar. He has a younger brother named Ayan. Babil made his acting debut in 2022 with the Netflix film, Qala, featuring Tripti Dimri as the female lead. He played the role of Jagan in the movie and received rave reviews for his performance in the same. The film was equally lauded by critics and viewers alike.

The actor is now making his web series debut too, with The Railway Men. The Netflix show will also see R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon and Divyendu Sharma apart from Babil.
