Babil Khan recently made headlines after posting an emotional crying video where he called Bollywood 'fake.' After the video went viral on social media, the Logout actor deleted his Instagram account. Following that, his family and team shared a statement clarifying that the video was misinterpreted. After this, filmmaker Sai Rajesh slightly called out Babil and thus created a social media feud between the two artists. Now, Babil has confirmed that he is no longer a part of Sai's upcoming film.
Babil Khan took to his Instagram account and shared a post confirming his exit from Sai Rajesh's film. He mentioned that he is quitting the film "due to unforeseen circumstances", adding that he will take some time off. Babil also wrote, “With a lot of grit, passion, and mutual respect, Sai Rajesh sir and I both got along on this journey of creating magic together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn't go ahead as everyone had planned.”
He also added that since he will be taking some time off currently, he wishes the best to Sai Rajesh and the film team on their future journey. "I know there is immense love between us, and we will meet soon in the future and create magic together," Babil concluded.
On the other hand, Sai also shared a similar post and called Babil "one of the most talented and hardworking actors." He wrote, "I have to accept this unfortunate reality of the situation. After spending time with Babil while prepping, I was very happy to be working with such a talented actor... I will still always cherish the experience of seeing him perform in front of me ... I will miss my Hero!”
He also mentioned that he respects Babil's decision of self-care first, and wishes him all the best and sends him all the love in the future!

Soon after Babil's crying video went viral, where he called Bollywood fake and took names such as Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arijit Singh, and Arjun Kapoor, Sai did not seem to be pleased by Babil's statement and responded strongly on Instagram Stories.
A part of his note read, "To Babil Khan's team", he wrote, "Do you really think we’re that naive to just walk away silently? What kind of attitude are we being subjected to? It feels like only those whose names were mentioned in his video deserve respect — and the rest of us are just fools for standing by him all this while?"
Reacting to this, Babil said that Sai really broke my heart, and wrote in the comments section, "I gave him my soul, rejected everything that came in my way for 2 years, anything and everything he needed, for 500 days of my life. I'll let my work speak. Goodbye. Man, I had bugs in my beard because he needed that in the character. I gave him my laughter while I held back my tears. I slit my f***ing wrist for him."
Meanwhile, Babil Khan was recently seen in Logout. The film is streaming on ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium!
