Mid-Day writes that the team for Friday Night Plan began shooting around Grand Hotel in south Mumbai. A source close to development told the outlet that Babil had been in talks to join this project for a long time, and that the team shot through the night. They will then shoot in different parts of the city over a period of two weeks.

Friday Night Plan is reported to be an intense drama, however, details about the plot have been kept strictly under wraps.

The first look for Qala, which is backed by Clean Slate Filmz was released in April last year. The movie is directed by Anvitaa Dutt of Bulbbul-fame and also marks the return of actor Tripti Dimri to Netflix.
