Baby, the new Telugu romantic drama grosses Rs 66 crore mark shocking one and all in the industry

Baby is a film that has caught the imagination of many. The film is going great guns at the box office and has already grossed over Rs 65 crores which is outstanding for a small film that has been made under a budget of under Rs 10 crores. Even on a weekday, the occupancy in most areas of the release is over 60% which shows what kind of a film Baby has turned out to be with the audience.
The film's bold content and hard-hitting dialogues have caught the imagination of one and all. There is a section of the audience and media who feel that a few dialogues should have been toned down to make it a healthy viewing for all sections of the audience. There is one dialogue in particular that has not gone well with many. It talks about how a girl should compromise by ending up in bed to save herself. Speaking about the same, director Sai Rajesh apologized to the fans and all those who felt bad listening to such dialogues. He further states that just to create an impact, he penned those lines and they have worked in the favor of the film.
Sai Rajesh is a very sensible director and his work in Baby is being appreciated a lot. The likes of Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverankonda, and several others have lauded the film and Sai Rajesh's narration. The youth has gone gaga over the film whose OTT release on Aha has also been postponed thanks to the terrific response from the audience.
One of the special aspects which helped the film is the music composed by Vijay Bulganin. He is being touted as the next big thing in Telugu cinema. Baby has been produced by SKN on his Mass Movie Makers banner. As of now, the entire team is touring the various districts in Andra Pradesh and the response has been amazing. Speaking about the same, the producer says that seeing housefull boards on a Monday and that too, a noon show, he never expected.
Baby has Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin in lead roles. Viva Harsha played a small role in the film. There is news that the film might also be dubbed into other South languages in the days to come. An official confirmation is yet to be made in this regard.
