Baby is one film that has shocked one and all with the way it is going at the box office. The low-budget drama has become a talking point ever since it was released on July 20, 2023, in Telugu states. Sai Rajesh of Hrudaya Kaleyam and Kobbari Matta fame has directed this film featuring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin in lead roles.
Despite the rains in Telangana, the occupancy for the film is quite strong. The triangular love story has completed six days at the box office and made Rs 43.4 crores gross which is stupendous. The film is made under a budget of Rs 10 crores and seeing the collections, Baby has already made double the profits.
As the film had mostly new faces, the theatrical rights of the film were also sold for nominal prices. The distributors involved with the film have been making big money in the last few days. The makers held a special event a few days back and Vijay Deverakonda, brother of the film's main lead, Anand Deverakonda, attended the event and spoke highly about the film. This gave enough buzz for the post-release promotions and helped the film at the box office.
One of the special aspects now is that none other than ICON star Allu Arjun is going to grace an appreciation meet tonight in Hyderabad. The stylish star had watched the film and was bowled over by the performances and narration.
Baby has been produced by SKN and his Mass Movie Makers banner. He is super thrilled with the response and says that despite the heavy rains, the audience is thronging to the theaters to watch Baby. The youth has been going gaga over the film and thanks to the mixed response, Baby has also become a talking point all over.
