Baby on OTT: Producer SKN reveals how he sold his house to fund the film

Baby is one film that is continuing its dream run in theatres even after it has started streaming online on Aha. The film clocked 100 million minutes unjust 32 hours of its release on Aha and is still making heads turn on Aha. Theatrical revenue wise too, Baby is nearing its 100 crores gross. SKN produced this film on his Mass Movie Makers banner and he went all out to give his film a proper release.

Not many know that Baby has been in the making for close to three years. The Covid scare also created havoc on the film's budget. The makers ended up spending way more than the estimated budget. Speaking in an interview, SKN says that after a point, the film exceeded the budget and he as a producer did not have much money left with him and did not want to borrow money from producer Allu Aravind, who was financing the film from the backend.

In an emotional tone, SKN revealed that he had sold his plush apartment in Hyderabad and used that money for the production of Baby. Well, all his sacrifices have bear fruits now as the film has made four times the money he had spent on the film. 

Not only SKN but everyone associated with the film has seen massive profits with Baby which featured Anand Deverakonda, Viraj Ashwin, and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in lead roles. SKN has come up the hard way in his career. He was an ardent mega fan who slowly became close to the megastar Chiranjeevi's family and became one of the key team members. 

SKN has already produced films like Taxiwala with Vijay Deverakonda and Baby is his second film as a full-fledged producer. He is a very passionate filmmaker and is known for his fun speeches which go viral all the time.
