Baby Twitter review: Netizens are in awe of Anand Deverakonda’s performance, dialogues and compare it to RX 100

The love triangle, Baby, is the second directorial of Sai Rajesh, who earlier helmed Hrudaya Kaleyam and wrote films like Kobbari Matta and Colour Photo. The romance drama stars Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin in the lead and is bankrolled by SKN under Mass Movie Makers. The film’s music by Vijai Bulganin went a long way in creating buzz for the film.

Several preview shows were held across Telugu states yesterday including celebrities like Vijay Deverakonda and Raashi Khanna, who graced one such screening in Hyderabad and had kind words to share about the film. While critics have given glowing reviews for Baby already, the biggest test for the film is today, where it reaches audiences.

Netizens are largely impressed by the film, with Anand Deverakonda’s performance, Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s unique characterisation and Vijai Bulganin’s music receiving praise. Some also applauded the film for its dialogues and called it a true tear-jerker. Many felt that it had all elements to resonate with the youth and those who have experienced rejection in love.

A set of viewers have also compared the film to hits like RX 100, Kumari 21 F, 7/G Brindavan Colony, which explored love from a male perspective. Leading Telugu OTT platform aha has acquired the post theatrical streaming rights of the drama. Nagababu, Lirisha, Kusuma Degalamarri, Sathvik Anand and others too essayed other key roles in the film.
