Kriti Sanon, who will be seen as filmmaker Myra Devekar in the upcoming masala entertainer Bachchhan Paandey, recently spoke up about how she approached her part in the film.

As per reports in IANS, Sanon said that as an actor, once one has gone through a certain number of films, they soak in more than they think. The actor explained her understanding of the filmmaker's character. She went on to say that just by observing and looking around, one starts to understand how the directors make their vision come alive, through their process and mannerisms.

The Mimi actor also said that her character's sense of control was her anchor point. As she has seen so many excellent filmmakers at work, she feels like it was easier for her to choose among them. As the captain of the ship, a director has complete authority over everything on set.

So her big take on Myra was that she is very much in charge and she is caught in a spot where circumstances get out of control, while she contrasted her character's core feature with the problems that get her better.

Farhad Samji directs and Sajid Nadiadwala produces Bachchhan Paandey, the action-comedy film. Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi feature in the film. It's a remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda from 2014, which was inspired by the South Korean film A Dirty Carnival from 2006. On March 18, 2022, the film will be released in theatres.

This is the second time Kriti has teamed up with Akshay after the Farhad Samji-directed Housefull 4, which released in 2019.

Meanwhile, Kriti has a slew of big films coming out this year, including Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan, Adipurush with Prabhas, Bhediya with Varun Dhawan, and Ganapath with Tiger Shroff.
