Back Door trailer: Poorna, Teja Tripurana's film promises to be an interesting take on infidelity

Extra marital affairs never end well. No, we are not telling that. We're hinting at the plot of Back Door, an upcoming Telugu film that stars Poorna, Tripurana in lead roles. The film, written and directed by Karri Balaji, has cleared all formalities for its theatrical release and was given a U certificate by the CBFC recently. The trailer of the film was launched today in the presence of director K Raghavendra Rao, producers Ambika Raja and Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana in Hyderabad.

The trailer of Back Door introduces you to a married woman, who gets into an extramarital affair with an acquaintance, whom she meets at a function. The man lusts over her, pines for her love and the woman responds to his advances soon, while also revealing about her marital status. The couple forgets the world while they are in each other's company. Just when one foresees the progression of their relationship, all hell breaks loose when the new man in her life accidentally dies at her home. The film addresses issues like consent, infidelity, desire with a dash of romance and drama thrown into the mix.

"I just heard that Back Door managed to garner over 10 million views for its teaser. I have now watched the trailer and I've really liked it. Karri Balaji, Teja Tripurana conveyed their happiness about the legendary filmmaker's gesture. Pranav has composed the music for the film cinematographed by Srikanth Naroj and edited by Chota K Prasad respectively. Back Door is produced by B Srinivas Reddy under Orchid Films.
