Bad Girl, the 2025 Tamil film, the latest to come out from director Vetrimaaran’s production, has made its OTT debut. JioHotstar has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights, and is now available to watch. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can watch Bad Girl, which is available in multiple audio options, including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The coming-of-age drama takes the route of the chick-lit genre and follows the life of Ramya from her high school days to early 30s, as she has to navigate the societal expectations, family pressures, and romantic relationships, to come in terms with herself. The film stars Anjali Sivaraman, known for titles like Cobalt Blue and Class, as Ramya.
Bad Girl is directed by Varsha Bharath in her feature film debut. She has earlier assisted filmmaker Vetrimaaran who has produced the film. Notably, Vetrimaaran had announced that he is shutting down his banner with Bad Girl being his final production.

Bad Girl had opened to good reviews from critics, but did not fare well at the box office. As per Sacnilk, the film had made Rs 0.7 crore/ Rs 70 lakhs only during its theatrical run. Nevertheless, the film had won international awards, including the NETPAC Award at the 54th International Film Festival Rotterdam.
