Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar had announced his special project Jee Le Zaraa starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt last year in August. The news of another film on a road trip featuring a girl gang got the movie buffs excited. Meanwhile, the latest news about the much-awaited movie might upset the fans.

According to a report on Pinkvilla, a source has revealed that Farhan and his team have decided to postpone the project indefinitely. The film was set to go on floors this September, while the bulk dates of the three protagonists are not matching for now, and this has led to an indefinite delay in the film. "A new timeline will be chalked only once everything will be locked," the source added.

The source also unveiled that Jee Le Zaraa might get pushed to late 2023, while the clarity on the same will be out by the makers in a few months.

Last year, in July, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara clocked 10 years of making, while Dil Chahta Hai marked 20 years of its release in August. To celebrate both the films, the makers announced Priyanka, Katrina and Alia starrer Jee Le Zaraa as their upcoming slice-of-life entertainer.

After that, the three divas shared a picture on their respective Instagram handles that features them posing together.

Priyanka shared the post with a larger-than-life caption on IG, while Alia posted the pic with a small but cute caption that reads, "2 years ago 3 girls came together with 1 dream There was only one place to go to make that dream come true; to 4 of the funnest dream-makers and storytellers in the business @faroutakhtar @zoieakhtar @reemakagti1 @ritesh_sid And now 50 Zoom calls later. Countless laughs later. With hearts full of love and excitement. Here we are. #JeeLeZaraa (sic)."
