Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar are currently filming "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" in Scotland. The actor injured his knee while filming some action scenes last week.

Now that further information regarding the shoot has come to light, it appears that Akshay continued to act in front of the camera despite being hurt. Despite having a significant tear in his knee, the actor kept filming the action sequences for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan while using a stick as support. This action schedule in the UK reportedly cost producer Jackky Bhagnani Rs 15 crore. Following the mishap, according to reports, Akshay had braces on his knee and also filmed a few close-up scenes.

“Akshay Kumar has a bad tear on his knee and is every day even walking with the support of a stick to make things easy for him. However, work commitment and professionalism is keeping on his toes on the film set. Despite the injury, he is continuing to shoot the action scenes for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with all precautions,” Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the development as saying

Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran also star in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in addition to Akshay and Tiger. This action comedy, slated to hit theatres on December 22, 2023, is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Akshay Kumar is also gearing up for this Marathi debut. In the upcoming film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, he will play Shivaji Maharaj. Moreover, he is now working on the Dinesh Vijan-produced films Sky Force, OMG 2, and Capsule Gill.
