Earlier speculated to be titled Stardom, the show, commissioned by Netflix, marks the directorial debut of Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan. Set in the world of Bollywood, it features Lakshya, the breakout star from Kill, produced by Guneet Monga and Karan Johar. It also stars Raghav Juyal, as per reports, who was also a part of Kill. However, new reports have now revealed the leading lady of the show, and it is quite an interesting choice.

The Ba***ds of Bollywood follows an ambitious outsider and his friends as they navigate the larger-than-life yet uncertain world of Bollywood. The series blends self-aware humor with a high-stakes narrative and promises a host of unforgettable cameos, blockbuster thrills, and an adventurous ride into the world of Indian cinema. According to a Pinkvilla report, the leading lady of The Ba***ds of Bollywood is as interesting as the two male leads, Lakshya and Raghav Juyal. Aryan Khan and his team always wanted to cast fresh talent rather than highly established actors, leading them to choose Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass actress Sahher Bambba. A source close to the development said, "Lakshya and Sahher Bambba are part of the long star cast of Aryan Khan's series as he wanted to make Stardom with new actors, which is why he has signed Lakshya and Sahher."

The Ba***ds of Bollywood is produced by Gauri Khan, with Bonnie Jain and Akshat Verma as executive producers.
