Bahishkarana fame Ananya Nagalla is back in the news. After making heads turn with the Zee 5 series, Ananya is all set to make her Hindi debut soon. She also opens up on her new Telugu projects.

Ananya Nagalla is one of the few heroines who is from Telugu origin. She made her debut in Priyadarshi's Mallesham, an award-winning film, and impressed one and all with her performance. Since then, she has been slowly making her presence felt in small Telugu films.

Ananya also did a few popular OTT projects and was appreciated hugely for her stunning performance in Zee5's crazy web series Bahishkarana. In 2024, she also acted in noted films Play Back, Tantra, and Srikakulam Sherlock Homes. Well, seeing her performance in these films, the makers of an upcoming Hindi film have roped in Ananya as the female lead of their film.
We at OTTplay have come to know that Ananya will be seen as the female lead in producer Himmat Ladumor's new female-centric film. Ananya will be seen playing a tribal girl in this gripping social drama and says that she is thrilled to finally make her Bollywood debut.

"I have been waiting for good roles to come by and they are finally happening now. Shows like Bahishkarana and the recently released Pottel have given me a lot of exposure," says Ananya. Not many know that Ananya is a software engineer by profession and has left her lucrative IT career to act in films. She made a name for herself when she acted as one of the leads in Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, which was a big hit at the box office.

Slowly but steadily, she is making her way as a bankable heroine in Telugu cinema. When it comes to realistic social dramas made on a low budget, Ananya is the front-runner and has also signed a few films in Telugu. Speaking about the same, Ananya says that she is at a very exciting phase in her career and says her upcoming Telugu films will prove her acting prowess and make everyone take her seriously.
