The 11th episode of Bails and Banter shifted the focus to Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper needs to be a team leader over a sportsman in the match, is what the expert feels. “He is number 1, whether he wins or loses,” Atul Wassan says about Virat.
The expert also notes how Virat has been consistent with the game and survived in times of constant trolling. “He has played and delivered when needed. Now he doesn't want to, unless there's a bigger challenge,” is what the expert feels about Virat’s plan ahead. He further explains how the skipper should save runs and play further matches, while giving another player an opportunity in the upcoming match. Interestingly, he noted how Shreyas Iyer did the same in the recent match.

“Nobody has the patience and maturity to take the harsh world. The mothers want everyone to be Sachin but that's not possible. Even if Tendulkar exists, Arjun is struggling. Similar with Abhishek Bachchan,” Atul Wassan states, explaining how Indian culture is built around the need for immediate action and that is not how the world functions. He notes how test players need to be chosen carefully and moulded to turn them into great players, if born with the right skills, of course. He cited the example of Priyansh Arya who might appear to be a star cricketer but 30 appeared to be like that and were out of the game within two weeks.
On hierarchy, Atul Wassan did confirm that it exists and should exist since the veteran players are more experienced and deserve the respect in comparison to newer players. He, however, agrees that one much show respect in order to gain respect too. Soon after, the expert remembered how some players get lost in trying to maintain their image. He noted how Yuvraj Singh found it difficult to bring down an image that the world saw him in, and thus, ego came in the way but it started with having a public image of him. Nonetheless, Wassan stated out loud that we need to see Rishabh Pant in the positive mind in England so he can bring out the best in him.
