Atul Wassan recalls Wasim Akram’s revenge story

During the 14th episode of Bails and Banter, Atul Wassan recalled an instance where Wasim Akram took revenge on him. He happened to mention of the time when he chose to open bat. While Wassan did so because he was feeling extremely cold, it took Akram by surprise. “Wasim Akram was surprised so he sent bouncers my way,” Wassan recalled, adding that the next time around, Akram played straight but it left Wassan so confused that he never knew where the ball would come from. That, he recalled, as the revenge story between the players who were retired by the time. “Wasim Akram was a genius,” Wassan concluded.

Atul Wassan calls Jasprit Bumrah ‘God of Bowling’

Similarly, he stated out loud that if Jasprit Bumrah tried to give bouncers, he would get injured. Nonetheless, Wassan noted that Bumrah is now the ‘God of Bowling’ and does not need to prove himself any longer. Meanwhile, he believes Arshdeeep Singh needs to step up. The expert is hopeful and hopes to see the cricketer in England. For the upcoming match though, Wassan pointed out that while Rohit Sharma has an aura and is the name, it is Hardik Pandya who is keeping the team together.
