On April 2, 2011, India lifted the World Cup under MS Dhoni's captaincy. They played against Sri Lanka in the final match. In the match, Gautam Gambhir made an impressive 97 runs before Dhoni's winning six won fans' hearts.
In the last episode of Bails and Banter, Atul Wassan said that everyone praises MS Dhoni's winning six, but Gambhir's 97 runs are unforgettable. He said, "I remember the 2011 World Cup because I was there in Mumbai and was working on it and this was a big event. Since the match was at the home ground, people expected you to win and that was a huge pressure."

Atul further added, "Gautam Gambhir actually played a big role. He does not get that kinda reward for what he did in the final but he played a crucial part in helping India lift the World Cup. Everyone remembers Dhoni's winning six but Gautam Gambhir's batting was memorable."
Atul Wassan praised Virat Kohli and his dedication and aggression. He said that sometimes Virat gets over the top, and Atul thinks he should be, because it cannot be controlled. "Sometimes you cross the line but once you know that, yes, I did cross the line and you apologise for it and then you are managing your intensity that works well for you. This is the reason he could perform. If he had toned it down, who knows, he would not have delivered the way he had as a player."
Meanwhile, in Bails and Banter, Atul Wassan discussed cricket matches, players, pre-match breakdowns, and more. The show began on May 17 and continued till June 3. You can watch it on the OTTplay App and the OTTplay YouTube channel!
