Release Date

Jio Cinema is currently coming up with a barrage of releases every week. Bajao is an upcoming musical comedy-thriller drama which marks singer-rapper Raftaar's acting debut. Directed by Shiva Varma and Saptaraj Chakraborty, the forthcoming OTT series is set to release on Jio Cinema on August 25.

Plot

Bajao follows the tale of a singer-rapper that discovers three amateur filmmakers, who are navigating through the world of Punjabi Pop music and get to sign a huge music contract with the iconic musician. However, their lives turn upside down as soon as they get their huge signing amount in a bag full of cash.

The official trailer of the forthcoming series sees Raftaar as a music sensation, who is in a huge feud with another singer-rapper and finds himself a set of new directors to create something new. However, as soon as the three amateur movie makers come in contact with the popular musician, they find themselves in dangerous situations and under the radar of gangsters.

Ahead of the Bajao teaser release , the Indian rapper shared an official poster featuring himself with a special caption that reads, "Bharosa karke rakh, pehle yeh sher jaagega phir dahaadega. (sic)."

Director

The Shiva Varma and Saptaraj Chakraborty directorial is backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Pragya Singh and Vijendra Sahaani under Jio Studio. Meanwhile, the comedy-drama show is written by Nikhil Sachan. 

Cast

Along with Raftaar, Bajao also stars Tanuj Virwani, Sahil Vaid and Sahil Khattar in key roles.
