Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a 2015 blockbuster film starring Salman Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Harshaali Malhotra, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film follows the story of a speech-impaired girl from Pakistan getting lost in Haryana and her journey to return home with the help of Pawan and Chand Nawab. After writer V. Vijayendra Prasad said he had met Salman and discussed a sequel, Nawazuddin opened up about the possibility of Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 and his Chand Nawab role.
In a new interview with Hindustan Times, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked about the possibility of a Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel and also whether he will reprise the role of Chand Nawab or not. He said, “I don’t have any information on a sequel being made. “It (the decision to cast him) depends on them (the makers). I cannot be ‘main first mein tha toh mujhe bhi lo’ (I was in the first, so you need to take me). It doesn’t work like that. Agar unki zaroorat hogi, toh hum haazir ho jayenge. (If they need me, I will be present.)”

During an interview with Puja Talwar, the Costao actor called out the Bollywood industry for copying from others for ages and also slammed it for making multiple film sequels. He claimed that they lack creativity.
He added, "They feel that if a formula is working, they should keep milking it, overdo it. And what’s even more pathetic is that now there are 2, 3, 4 (sequels) being made. It's creative bankruptcy, just like financial bankruptcy. There's a lot of creative poverty."
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin was recently seen in Costao, which is streaming on ZEE5, and you can watch it with your OTTplay Premium subscription. The film depicts the real story of the customs officer, Costao Fernandes, who took a bold attempt to fight against the corrupt system and caught a gold smuggling ring in Goa.
