Ace director Selvaraghavan, who was last seen in controversial filmmaker Mohan G's next, today, revealed a huge regret in his life. The actor and director, who took to his social media handle, wrote in Tamil that he did not have a single friend and he was jealous of all those who had friends. He said that he was so caught up with work that he had no time to make friends. His tweet in Tamil translates to, ", "Let me tell you from experience. Don't just lose good friends. I have no friends. For 23 years I never thought about anything but work. Today I feel jealous when I see people who are happy with their friends.. Where will I go to find friendship (sic)."

Soon social media was abuzz with many replying to the Saani Kaayidham actor stating that he was blessed with good friends. Some also thanked the director for his advice.


On the work front, though Bakasuran, opened to mixed reviews, Selvaraghavan's performance won him praise. Actor Karthi had written on his social media handle, "It’s good to see @selvaragavan becoming a full fledged actor and playing the lead. Only a handful of us knew what a brilliant actor he is but the world is witnessing it now. Congratulations #Bakasuran Team!! (sic)."

Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, too, had written, "#Bakasuran Hearing good word of mouth for this movie in South...Congrats my friend @natty_nataraj & Dir @selvaraghavan (sic)."

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who frequently collaborates with the director, said  that he was happy for Selvaraghavan. He wrote, "Hearing good things about my dear friend @selvaraghavan's performance in #Bakasuran  Happy for you sir. May you excel in whatever you do! (sic)."

Selvaraghavan's last directorial was Naane Varuven, which had Dhanush playing dual roles. Though the ace director has not announced his next, fans are hoping that he revives Aayirathil Oruvan 2 at the earliest.
