Balagam: The Dil Raju family drama completes 50 days in theaters, a rare phenomenon these days

Balagam is a film that not many even knew about. But the manner in which producer Dil Raju promoted it, the word of mouth grew and the family drama opened with a bang at the box office and became a blockbuster hit. Now, the film has completed fifty days of its run and is still playing in the theaters.

What's special is that even after coming out on OTT, the film is playing in the theaters and is still generating some revenue for the makers. Venu Yeldandi has directed this film which is based in a small town of Telangana. The film worked wonders as the makers produced it on a mere budget of under 5 crores and made four times the profit.

Balagam is a family drama which showcases how the mentalities of people change when an elderly person in the family passes away. Venu Yeldandi, the noted comedian turned director for the first time and impressed one and all. He even acted in a small role in the film.

Balagam is also winning a lot of applause as it has won several international awards and is going to several film festivals all over the world. Dil Raju's daughter, Hanshita Reddy and nephew Harshit Reddy produced the film on their Dil Raju productions banner. Bheems Ciciroleo composed the film's music and Priyadarshi along with Kavya Kalyanram played the main leads.
