Balakrishna-Bobby film: These two popular heroines are in talks to play the female lead - Exclusive

Nandamuri Balakrishna is in no mood to slow down as he is giving back-to-back hits in his career. His last two films, Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy have been huge hits and grossed over 100 crores at the box office in 2023. He is now doing a film titled Bhagavath Kesari in the direction of star director Anil Ravipudi. The action drama is busy with its shoot in Hyderabad as of now.

Post Bhagavath Kesari, Balakrishna has joined hands with Bobby who directed the industry hit Waltair Veerayya with Chiranjeevi. The film was also launched on a grand note a few weeks back and Sithara Entertainments will be bankrolling this film on a huge budget. Bobby is ready with his script and is busy casting for the film. He is meeting a few Bollywood stars well to play key roles in the film.

We at OTTplay have exclusively learned that the makers have approached heroines, Samyuktha Menon and Rakul Preet Singh to play the female lead in the film. One of them will be finalized in the next few days or so. Rakul has been out of form and has not done a Telugu film in a long time. So, if she bags this film, it will be a solid comeback and will change her career big time.

On the other hand, Samyutha Menon is on top of her game as all her last three films, Bheemla Nayak, Bimbisara, and Virupaksha have been blockbusters at the box office. There is also news that she is being given more preference as the female lead. The discussions are on as of now and other big names are also being looked at.

In the days to come, we need to see which of these two gets the lucky break as acting opposite Balakrishna will do a world of good to these heroines. Balakrishna will be seen in a double role in this film as per the news.
