Nandamuri Balakrishna is on cloud nine as his latest release, Veera Simha Reddy has become a blockbuster hit at the box office. The film directed by Gopichand Malineni is nearing the 100 crore mark and to mark the success, the team held a grand celebration in Hyderabad. The function was held in high spirits and Balakrishna gave a powerful speech like always. But some of his words turned out to be quite controversial.
Mentioning about his dad, NTR's colleagues, Balakrishna said "My father, Sr NTR had some contemporaries, Ranga Rao, Akkineni, Thokkineni, and a few others,” The way he used the word Tokkineni in a disgraceful manner has left the fans of ANR very angry. Some of the fans are posting harsh tweets and comments on social media that Balakrishna should apologize for his harsh remarks.
On the other hand, the fans of Balakrishna said that Balakrishna used the word in an unintentional way and just for fun and one should not take it seriously. This is not the first time that Balakrishna has made such comments. In many of the events years back, he took a dig at several stars and ended up in controversies. Yesterday, Balakrishna also used foul language in his speech which went viral.
Balakrishna is a man with a pure heart and everyone knows it. But he, slipping his tongue time and again has not gone well. This time, the Akkineni fans are quite upset and want an apology from the actor. Balakrishna is very fond of ANR and shares a close bond with the Akkineni family. Only time will tell whether he will respond on this issue or not.
