The makers of the upcoming Malayalam romance drama 1 Princess Street dropped an update about its theatrical release. The film will hit the big screen on June 14. Balu Varghese and Ann Sheetal are playing the lead roles in this film, which is directed by Zimayon.
The supporting cast includes Reju Shivadas, Shammi Thilakan, Harisree Ashokan, Leona Lishoy, Zinil Zainudheen, Vanitha Krishna Chandran, Bhagath Manual, and Kalabhavan Haneef. With this film, Archana Kavi is returning to the big screen after a seven-year hiatus. The actress stated on Instagram, “Haniya (my character in the film) holds a special place in my heart because she has my voice. Returning to the big screen after over seven years feels like a fresh start.”
MAQTRO Motion Pictures, in collaboration with Rain n Shine Entertainments, Kirthana Movies, and UBA Films, is financing the movie. Together with Praveen Bharathi and Tuttu Tony Lawrence, Zimayon wrote the film's screenplay. Arjun Accot is responsible for the film's cinematography. The movie's soundtrack was composed by Prince George.
The film's teaser was unveiled in January, and it was followed by several well-received songs from the audience. Two young people are seen falling in love in the 45-second video. The scene where Ann Sheethal's character asks Balu Varghese if he would talk to her father about their marriage proposal is a tease for a romantic drama set in Fort Kochi's popular Princess Street.
