Baalveer Season 5 OTT release date: Here's when and where you can stream Dev Joshi's fantasy series

Balveer Season 5 is all set to make its way to OTT in the coming days. The fantasy series has been around for more than a decade. Beginning on April 7, 2025, Sony LIV (OTTplay Premium) will host the upcoming season premiere. 

New menace threatens Balveer's existence

A new and terrifying adversary has arisen intent on eradicating Baalveer from existence; although an agonising confrontation with his father has rendered him helpless, his quest is far from over. In order to save the planet, Baalveer must overcome his toughest challenge so far.

As far as fiction and fantasy television shows go, Baalveer is the longest-running. Airing dates for the first season were 8 October 2012–4 November 2016. From September 10, 2019, to June 30, 2021, the second season, called Baalveer Returns, was broadcast on television. The first season serves as a direct prequel to this one. The third season of Baalveer aired on television from March 18, 2023, to September 9, 2023. After Baalveer Returns, this is the spiritual continuation. Season 4, simply called Baalveer 4, streamed on Sony LIV from May 6, 2024, to July 23, 2024. Just like Baalveer 3, it follows right after. At the conclusion of season 4, a fifth season, named Baalveer 5, was announced.

Recap of Season 4 climax

In Season 4, unbeknownst to him, Krinkaal Lok is a villain, but Baalveer manages to liberate his father Bhasma from his clutches. After he overcomes a number of obstacles, he is able to free his father. Unfortunately, Bhasma begins wreaking havoc on Earth. Afterwards, Baalveer causes Bhasma to pass out. As Benam explains to Baalveer, Bhasma's history includes serving as a soldier for Shashwan Lok, but his true ambition was to become king of the world. Finally, he married Benam under the guise of love, and he murdered her father with a bhasm trident. However, a new enemy named Param has emerged, and he is attempting to eliminate this final Baalveer. Param filled his power by murdering Baalveer's mother, Benam. They will now observe what Baalveer faces and he emerges victorious at the end of the last episode.
