The ‘youth wing of YRF’ - Y Films was launched in 2011 by Aditya Chopra as a sub-brand of Yash Raj Films. Y Films has introduced some fresh talents through their production ventures including movies, web series, music videos and more. Movies from the production house - like Love Ka The End, Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Bank Chor - also follow the same ideology of presenting fresh and vibrant content. Y Films forayed into the world of web series in 2015 with their first Y Films Original titled Living in a Man’s World. The series was well received and soon became popular for its socially relevant and entertaining content.

A young couple from two very different cultural backgrounds fall in love and decide to tie the knot. When they finally introduce each other to their parents just before their nuptials, all doesn’t go as planned. Even though the show allows clichés to seep into the narrative, the way the theme of love marriage in Indian societies is given a fresh treatment is what makes Bang Baaja Baaraat a hit.

Love Shots

An anthology of six short films, Love Shots narrates six romantic tales that feature love in unconventional ways. The short films trace love across different ages and professions, backed up by amazing music. “For this series we have collaborated with an incredible set of musicians to take the story forward,” said Ashish Patil, Y-Films Vice President - Brand Partnerships and Talent Management.

Ladies Room

Six episodes, two best friends, six bathrooms, six crazy adventures - that's the easiest way to explain this mini web series from Y Films. Starring Saba Azad and Shreya Dhanwanthary, Ladies Room follows two female best friends who are travelling from Goa to Mumbai. YRF has claimed that this show is about modern, young ‘girl bros’ struggling to transition into adulthood.

“These girls are mad, bad and completely unapologetic about it!” reads the show’s description.

Sex Chat with Pappu and Papa

An honest attempt to undo the taboo around sex and sex chat, this show is filled with humour. Created in collaboration with Durex, Sex Chat with Pappu and Papa revolves around the titular characters who are faced with questions from a seven year old boy. The boy does not hesitate in asking his father whatever comes to his mind. Kabir Sajid and Anand Tiwari showcase excellent performances as Pappu and Papa along with Sanjeeda Shaikh, Alka Amin and Sachin Pilgaonkar
