Bangarraju is a movie the fans of Telugu cinema will be waiting for. The main attraction of the movie is that Naga Chaitanya and his father, Akkineni Nagarjna will be sharing the screen.
The trailer was shared with the audience on New Year’s day by the makers. The teaser features both the stars and kicks off with Naga Chaitanya tossing a staff onto his bike, while looking stylish. The teaser has elements of action, romance and a good shot of both the father and son in the single frame.
Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty also feature in the teaser, which hints at an entertainer that the two actor’s fans can thoroughly enjoy. The movie also stars Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore, Jhansi and Anita Chowdery in important roles.
Ramya Krishna is expected to reprise her role as Satyabhama (from Soggade Chinni Nayana) all over again. Bangarraju is a prequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala.
The project is helmed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala and is produced by Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios. The music is handled by Anup Rubens while J Yuvaraj is the director of photography and Vijay Vardhan K is the editor. Rubens had also composed the music for Soggade Chinni Nayan.
Nagarjuna was last seen in debutant Ashishor Solomon’s action thriller Wild Dog. The movie received fairly average reviews and did not do well at the box office.
Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Love Story Sekhar Kammula’s musical romantic drama with Sai Pallavi playing the female lead. The film received fairly positive reviews, with the performances of both the lead actors being lauded by the audience.
