Bangla Medium: Neel Bhattacharya, Tiyasha send love from Bangkok

The Bengali TV serials often suffer from low budgets. Most of the shootings take place in the city studios, including Indrapuri, Technicians, NT1, Narayani, and so on. The serials hardly go for outdoor shoots. The serial teams are sometimes seen going outdoors in Mandarmani, Gopalpur, or Darjeeling. Now for the first time, a Bengali serial team has gone abroad for shooting. 

The actors and actresses of Bangla Medium, including Neel Bhattacharya, Tiyasha Lepcha, and Sampurna Lahiri, are currently in Bangkok. Neel and Tiyasha shared photos from there. 

The team has been shooting around Bangkok and Pattaya for a few days. Meanwhile, the cast and crew members are also getting busy shopping, gorging on local food, and exploring the place. Sampurna has already shared a carousel of photos. The serial has completed 100 episodes. While it has not topped the TRP chart, Bangla Medium managed to stay within the top 10 serials of the week. 

Neel and Tiyasha worked together in Zee Bangla’s Krishnokoli. They are known to be comfortable with each other. Talking about the actress, Neel said that he knows her for six years and it doesn’t take too much effort to work with her. Meanwhile, Tioyasha said that her friendship with Neel became stronger in the last six years. 

Neel and his wife Trina Saha went through a series of rumours and media reports on their separation. Neel took to his Instagram to post a couple-photo and refuted all the media claims. Trina has, however, always maintained that nothing went wrong between them. While talking to OTTplay, Neel said, “I was overwhelmed by the reports. There are ups and downs in the relationship but I never thought my life will be speculated based on my Instagram posts.”
