Hawa has taken Kolkata by storm. The Chanchal Chowdhury film witnessed a never-seen-before excitement at the Nandan area in Kolkata on Saturday – the first day of the fourth Bangladeshi Film Festival. On the day, there were two shows – 1 pm and 6 pm. Cine lovers of Kolkata queued up from 9 am to get a seat at the first-come-first-serve festival. The 6 pm show also saw a similar madness.

After the first day craze, the organisers increased the show on Monday at 10 am in Nandan. Besides, there was a scheduled show at Nandan 2. However, Monday too presented a similar picture of people’s frenzy. Both the shows were housefull. 

Nandan is showing a number of Bangladeshi films on the occasion of the fourth Bangladesh Film Festival. However, Hawa is the special attraction among those films. The film’s actor Chanchal Chowdhury came to Kolkata and joined the festival. He is overjoyed at the crowd.

The film, which was shown previously last Saturday, will be shown again on November 2. The authority added two extra shows at the request of the audience. Other films got a bit overshadowed by Hawa. A

The entire audience lent their voices to the film’s song Sada Sada Kala Kala. After the film ended, Chanchal Choudhury appeared on stage. The audience got overjoyed seeing him. Chanchal said he is also very happy at the reaction. He also sang a few lines of the song Sada Sada Kala Kala.
