Banni Chow Home Delivery: Aamir Khan's sister Nikhat Khan to make her OTT debut

Nikhat Khan, an actor, producer, and sister of Bollywood superstar and Laal Singh Chadha actor Aamir Khan is all set to make her television debut with the show Banni Chow Home Delivery. The show will also be available to stream on OTT.

A Hindi remake of Bengali show Khukumoni Home Delivery, Banni Chow Home Delivery follows the adventures of a young orphan girl named Banni who makes a living by delivering home cooked meals. There's also an individual who is mentally ill and loves music. The show will air on Star Plus from May 30 and also stream on Disney+ Hotstar. To make room for Banni Chow Home Delivery at 9 pm, Saath Nibhana Saathiya will be moved to a different time slot.

Nikhat Khan rose to prominence with the Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji and Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal. She worked as a producer on Aamir Khan movies such as Lagaan, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, and Tum Mere Ho. Nikhat and Aamir's father, Tahir Hussain, directed the latter film. Nikhat has also appeared in films such as Mission Mangal, Saand Ki Aankh, and Tanhaji, to name a few.

She is now excited about her small screen debut. Speaking to Zoom TV, she said it's a great chance and an honour to make her position in the audience's hearts. Audiences will learn more about her personality as the show progresses, and she is thrilled to find out the viewer's reaction, she said, according to a IndiaToday source.

Ulka Gupta and Pravisht Mishra star in the key roles of Banni Chow, which is produced by renowned TV producer Shashi Mittal. Apart from Nikhat, Ulka and Pravisht, the rest of the cast includes Rajendra Chawla, Harsh Vashisht, Vishal Puri, Parvati Sehgal, Ayush Anand, and Pooja Singh, among others, according to a TellyChakkar source.

Banni Chow Home Delivery will also stream on Disney+ Hotstar from May 30, 2022.
