Bappi Lahiri’s last public appearance was on Bigg Boss 15, Salman Khan told him ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ – watch

The music industry lost a legend in Bappi Lahiri, who made his last public appearance on Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 15. His video from when he attended the reality show has been going viral. Salman and Bappi da’s chemistry on the show has been winning the internet.

Bappi Lahiri could be seen seated on a throne chair throughout the episode. While Bappi da had made Salman laugh, the actor also said ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ to the legend.

Salman introduced Bappi da on the show stating his real name is Alokesh. Soon, the singer joked stating, “My son’s name is Arunesh and uske baad jo hoga woh hoga ‘Suitcase.” Hearing so, Salman broke into bouts of laughter.

Bappi da then introduced his grandson Swastik Lahiri to the show. Swastik aka Rego B entered the show grooving to his song #BachchaParty.

Salman then introduced Bappi da and Rego to the housemates, who were beyond thrilled to see a new face, especially that of the legendary singer. “Love you Bappi da,” Jay Bhanushali and Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash were heard screaming.

Another memorable moment came when Salman introduced the ‘female Bappi da’ to the golden man. The host was talking about Punjabi singer Afsana Khan, who is also fond of gold jewellery and wears golden rings, if not chains.

Before bidding him goodbye from the show, Salman paid his respects to the singer as he crooned ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ while giving Bappi da a hug. The actor also gave the singer a kiss on the forehead, as Bappi da just thanked him for everything continuously.

As Salman joked by kissing Bappi da’s gold, every contestant, along with Bappi Lahiri, laughed. Before leaving the show, Bappi da had told Salman, “Sona kya hai? Dil hi toh ab tumhe de diya hai.”
