Chandra Hass is the latest newcomer in Telugu cinema. The son of popular TV actor Prabhakar, Chandra Hass made his debut with a film that ended as a box office flop, though his performance and dancing skills were widely appreciated. Riding high on that recognition, he is now gearing up for his second film, Barabar Premistha, a gripping village drama.

Barabar Premistha teaser review

The film has completed its shoot and noted director V. V. Vinayak recently unveiled the teaser, which looks promising. Set in the village of Rudraram, Telangana, the teaser showcases Chandra Hass fighting for love. His action sequences and mass appeal are impressive, with notable improvement in his emotional expressions.

The dialogue, "Nuvvu Nannu Kodathante Noppi Nee Kallallo Thelusthundentraa," hints at the film's intense tone. While love stories are common in Telugu cinema, Barabar Premistha adds a unique mix of village politics and a villain disrupting the hero’s love life, as highlighted in the teaser.

Barabar Premistha cast and crew details

Arjun Mahi, making a comeback after a long hiatus, plays the primary antagonist, while Meghana Mukherjee makes her debut in a glamorous and fun role. Directed by Sampath Rudra, the film promises to be more than a typical love story, offering several twists and turns.

Chandra Hass has praised the film's music, stating that Dhruvan’s background score will be a major highlight. Producer Gayatri Chinni shared that despite exceeding the budget, they did not compromise on the film’s quality, with the action sequences appearing realistic and well-executed.

Chandra Hass has faced criticism for his off-screen behaviour, but he believes his on-screen performance in Barabar Premistha will change perceptions. The film is slated to release in early 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
