The actor-director is reportedly planning to start working on his fourth directorial, soon after he wraps up his current commitments as an actor. In that case, we can expect a major announcement on Basil Joseph’s next outing as a filmmaker, by the beginning of 2025. However, none of these reports are officially confirmed, yet.

Basil Joseph will be next seen in the upcoming Sreeraj Sreenivasan directorial, Pravinkoodu Shappu. The movie, which was originally slated to get a December 2024 release, is now pushed to 2025 due to undisclosed. The actor-filmmaker's other upcoming projects including Jothish Shankar’s Ponman, which is expected to hit the theatres in February 2024, and Maranamass, the upcoming comedy film produced by popular actor Tovino Thomas.
